Peter V. Williams (1902-1947)

The main artist of the Bolshoi Theatre (1941 - 1947). A follower of the traditions of "World of Art" in the creation of a "synthetic" theatrical action, bright, showy spectacle. Used in the art of scenic design techniques of painting. At the heart of its decorative systems - panels-heel (the play "The Pickwick Club" in Moscow Art Theater, 1934).
