Solomin Nicholas Roerich (1916-1999)

People's Artist of the RSFSR.
In 1936 he graduated from the State Teachers College of Art and Memory in 1905 in the class of Professor N. Krymova.
After graduation he enters the MGHI them. VI Surikov.
But in the life of an artist for a long time, war intervened. Ordinary 18th Division of the People's Militia (formation of the division took place in Moscow on the site of what is now the hotel "Soviet") N. Solomin went through the war to Berlin, he was a prisoner.
 Returning from the war, completed his studies at the Institute (teachers S. V. Gerasimov, Ryazhskiy GG) in 1948 and was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR.

-Union artist brought the paintings on the theme of rural life, "Decree on the ground," "Back from the war," "responsible job", "Do not wait." A special place to work N. Solomin held the portrait genre.

In 1976, 1985 and 2000 (in memory of N. Solomin) years. artist's solo exhibitions were held in Moscow. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, more than 20 art museums in the former Soviet Union.
