Beluga Eugene D. (1889-1943)
He studied at the St. Petersburg privately with VV Mate (1911), then entered the Academy of Fine Arts (1912-1913). He took lessons from VI Shuhaeva (1918). He participated in exhibitions since 1918 (in Petrograd). Among his early works, mostly signed by a pseudonym (E. Nilich) - Portrait of VV Rozanov (etching, 1911), Self-Portrait (gouache, 1911-1912). Served as illustrations for magazines "Spark" (1911-1912), "The Sun of Russia" (1913-1914). In the 1920s, engaged in painting products on the State Porcelain Factory.
