Petrov-Maslakov Vsevolod Mikhailovich (born 1930) is a painter, Honorable Artist of Russia. Graduate of the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, workshop of Professor V.M. Oreshnikov. The art of V.M. Petrov-Maslakov is the art of the "discoverers". He was one of the first artists to explore Siberia and the Arctic. I went on expeditions with geologists, depicted and memorized what I saw, so that I could later transfer it to canvases that we can see in the Russian Museum and other major museums in Russia. The artist's work has become a bright page in the history of Russian art.
