Moyseenko Evsej Evseevich (1916-1988)

E. Moiseenko - artist great gifts and complicated story. Fifteen teenager he goes deaf from the Belarusian village in Moscow, where in 1931 he entered the Art-Industrial School. After graduating from college, Moiseenko spring 1936 came to Leningrad and entered the Faculty of Painting IZHSA. Here he was fortunate to learn from AA Osmerkin, an artist of high professional culture, a strong temperament, understand and tsenivshego folk art. So Moyseenko previously learned skills given a new impetus to development.

Classes interrupted by the war: July 5, 1941 Moyseenko volunteered in the militia. On the approaches to Leningrad, he and his unit was surrounded and Fascist captivity. The situation changed in the 1950s., After the death of Joseph Stalin. Since 1956, when Moyseenko first elected to the leadership of the Leningrad branch of Union of Artists, began its rapid ascent.
