Manizer Matveevich Henry (1847-1925)

Henry Matveevich Manizer was born in the Baltic States, and the first art education at the Moscow School of Painting and Sculpture, which for student work he was awarded the small and large silver medal.

 In the twenty-five years, Mr. Manthri moved to St. Petersburg, and continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts (1872-1877). GM Manizer was an artist of wide range. He managed the work of biblical scenes, portraits, household composition, and battle scenes (the painting "Entry Gourko in Kazanlak" in 1887, bought the Emperor Alexander III). Was GM Manizer also an excellent draftsman, engraver and worked skilled wrote articles on art. His skill was highly prized by connoisseurs and lovers of painting.
