Robert Schoris (b. - 1959)

Renowned artist Robert Baltic Schoris was born in 1959 in lying right on the picturesque coast of the Baltic Sea in Palanga. Undoubtedly, the strength of colorful landscapes and unspoiled splendor of the surrounding nature, coupled with precocious ability to fine art, determined the course of life, Robert. For a time, the work being carried away on amber, a common craft in the Baltic states, rather than painting, yet subsequently gifted young man is focused on painting. It should be noted that the easy way out and he did not think to look for: from the variety of writing techniques of paintings, the choice fell on him, perhaps, the most complicated method - on the bed. This technique requires maximum concentration, agile hands, and incredible patience. However, in this case, the end justifies the means, and in full. Few of the artists who use other, more common methods of creating paintings, will be able to achieve the same, almost tactile softness and smoothness of the lines, the ease of play of light and shadow, allowing the creation of joy in the eyes of complete relaxation. Amazingly, in spite of this apparent softness and smoothness in a holistic perception of paintings the artist manages to superbly clear and technically calibrated draws every detail, without missing a single nuance.

      In the homeland of the artist, in the palace of Count Tyshkyavichyusa hosts regular exhibitions of his work, having great success with the art connoisseurs. In Moscow, where Robert moved in 1983, his work has also been honored with adequate attention: many of the paintings went under the hammer at auction, but the majority of paintings were written under the order. In this case, the lion's share of orders accounted for the regulars who have long been loyal admirers of this great artist. Among them there are prominent businessmen and artists. Remarkably, all the pictures painted to order, despite the obvious originality, always fully meet the expectations of the customer: Robert manages to perfectly adjust the line between his own creative vision of the future creation of the individual client.
