Shuhvostov Stepan Mikhailovich (1821-1908)Academic perspective and landscape painting Stepan Shuhvostov in his youth was a student at the Moscow School of Painting and Sculpture (amendment in the name - architecture - appear only in 1865). From the Academy of Fine Arts in 1850, he received the title of class artist. The subsequent work of the painter quickly brought him success. In 1853, S. Shuhvostov received the title of "appointed" in academics. Two years later (1855) the artist becomes academic. On the directions of his work just say the name in which SM Shuhvostova: "Interior view of the Assumption Cathedral of the Trinity Lavra", "The interior of the Cathedral of St. Sergius," "The interior of the Church of Gethsemane Skete," "View of the interior of the cathedral in Moscow." The artist's works were popular with audiences and in demand by collectors. Today, they are represented in the collections of many art exhibitions of the country.
