Shuhvostov Stepan Mikhailovich (1821-1908)

Academic perspective and landscape painting Stepan Shuhvostov in his youth was a student at the Moscow School of Painting and Sculpture (amendment in the name - architecture - appear only in 1865). From the Academy of Fine Arts in 1850, he received the title of class artist. The subsequent work of the painter quickly brought him success. In 1853, S. Shuhvostov received the title of "appointed" in academics. Two years later (1855) the artist becomes academic.
