Nikolai Gritsenko (1856-1900)

Nikolai Nikolaevich Gritsenko - seascapes (1856 - 1900), graduated from the course in Kronstadt technical school, military vessels sailed on "Cruiser", "Vladimir Monomakh" and "Shooter."

In 1885, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts and enjoyed the leadership of LF Lagorio. For further improvement in 1887 was sent to Paris to AP Bogolyubov , also attended Cormon's studio.

In 1890, accompanied by the Emperor, the then heir to the throne, on his journey to the East. In 1894 he left the service in the Navy and was appointed painter to the Admiralty.

 Wrote a lot of paintings and watercolors depicting views of the sea, harbors and various parts of Russia and Siberia. The Museum of Alexander III "Night of the Pacific."
