Alexei Maximov Fedotovich (1870-1921)

Painter and graphic artist Alexei Maximov Fedotovich graduated from the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. During the study (1893-1899) won two silver medals from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, which by that time had a high and sustained credibility. In 1899, for his film Ivan the Terrible in the suburb of Alexander Maximov was awarded the title of the artist. Their work on historical subjects and household composition painter demonstrated in exhibits of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. Collaborated with a number of magazines, heavily coming out of the country at the beginning of XX century.

 Over time, the name of AF Maximov was thoroughly is forgotten. However, is it any wonder? In the second decade of boiling and subsequent times XX century were lost in human memory and larger-scale talent, leaders of national culture. Historic painting survived and showed skill and original talent of the author.
