Makarov, Ivan Kuzmich (1822-1897)

In the painting, Ivan Kuzmich Makarov came on the emerging family tradition. His father graduated from the once famous Arzamasskaya Stupin school and worked as an art teacher in those days in the provincial town of Saransk, Penza province.
