Ladurner Ignatievich Adolf (1798-1855)

Adolf Ignatievich Ladurner - batalicheskih painter. Having received his art education in Paris and showing their works in double cabin (in 1824 painting The Battle of Mataro and 1827 - General Staff of the Royal Lancers), in 1830, moved to St. Petersburg, where he soon gained the favor of Emperor Nicholas I and wrote for the images of war parades, divorce, camp scenes, forms, uniforms of different parts of the Russian army, etc.

In 1836 the Imperial Academy of Arts, presented to her in a few works of this artist, recognized its academic, and in 1840 was elevated to the rank of professor.

He died in St. Petersburg in 1855.

 Numerous works Ladurner were scattered mainly in the imperial palaces, of which the most complex and interesting - Triumph of the opening of the Alexander Column (located in the Hermitage).
