Molchanov, Gregory - a decorative painter (born in 172 6 year). In the Winter of Marmara (the "Chinese Room"), the Tsar and Oranienbaum palaces painted lampshades and other decorative work performed. He also wrote theater sets for "opera house" at the Winter Palace, wooden, for Italian opera, for the Moscow theater, etc. It may be that the identity of a portrait painter M.
